Privacy Policy

League Links (“we,” “us,” or “our”) helps golf groups run leagues and tournaments — tracking rounds, scores, standings, and payments. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices and rights you have.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account details. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. You may edit your display name and appearance (theme) preference in the app.
- League & tournament content. Leagues and events you create or join, teams and rosters, member roles, schedules, match scorecards, scores, handicaps, statistics, standings, and any posts or announcements you write.
- Support communications. Messages you send us and their contents.
Information collected automatically
- Usage & device data. Basic log information such as your device type, browser, IP address, and how you interact with the app, used to operate and improve the service and to keep it secure.
Payment information
Season and tournament payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number and full payment details are entered directly with Stripe and are never stored on our servers. We retain only a record of your billing status, the plan/tier purchased, and Stripe’s customer and transaction identifiers.
Golf course data
Course and par information is supplied by a third-party provider (golfcourseapi.com). This is reference data about courses, not personal information about you.
2. How we use your information
- Provide, operate, and maintain the app and your leagues and tournaments.
- Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- Process payments and manage subscriptions and access.
- Calculate scores, handicaps, standings, statistics, and badges.
- Respond to your requests and provide support.
- Send service-related messages (for example, billing or account notices).
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical issues.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or advertising. We share it only as needed to run the service, as described here:

| Business transfers | If League Links is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. |
4. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your account and personal information.
- Data portability — receive a copy of your information.
- Appeal a decision we make about a privacy request.
Because we do not sell personal information, use targeted advertising, or profile you for decisions with legal effects, there is nothing for you to opt out of in those categories. Colorado residents have these rights under the Colorado Privacy Act, and California residents have the rights to know, correct, and delete under the CCPA/CPRA. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. You can delete your account at any time from the app’s Settings, or by contacting us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements (for example, payment records required for tax and accounting).
6. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children’s privacy
League Links is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Your continued use of League Links after an update means you accept the revised policy.
